We are excited to have played a significant role in the construction of a new facility at a world-famous film studio, known for filming major Hollywood productions such as The Expendables, The Outpost, Hitman, 300, Mechanic: Resurrection, and many others.
The film studio has been collaborating with 3A Block’s production facility for years on various projects, and it was a natural choice to use our concrete blocks for the construction of one of their new studios. The new building required excellent sound insulation, and concrete walls provided a much more cost-effective solution compared to traditional structures using metal frames and sandwich panels. Pouring reinforced concrete walls with the necessary thickness and height would have taken too much time—a luxury in the film industry where time is of utmost importance. For this project, we supplied 2,480 blocks measuring 160x80x80 cm. The building stands at an impressive 12 meters high and features a movable partition wall, allowing the internal space to be reconfigured based on specific needs. This project demonstrates the versatility and practicality of our concrete blocks in creating efficient, cost-effective, and flexible structures, even for highly demanding environments like the film industry.
